CERTIFICATION RENEWAL UPDATE ON BEHALF OF THE IMFOA BOARD AND CERTIFICATION REVIEW COMMITTEE (as of 10/21/23): 

Because of Covid-19 and the unavailability of the Certification Database in the last several month, the IMFOA Board of Directors has approved the extension of IMFOA certification renewals for years 2018-2019.  In the table below, under the “Renew Date” column, locate the renewal year of your certification, then move to the “Extended Until” column to find the coinciding extended year to renew. 

 In addition, the Certification Committee encourages members to:

1. Renew certifications as soon as they are able after their renewal date
2. Wait to submit certification applications/renewals until the needed classes are on the dashboard. You will not be penalized for waiting (you cannot control when the dashboard is updated with your classes.)  A lot of classes have been entered on the dashboard recently and your patience is most appreciated. 
3. Use the new fill-able application forms at www.imfoa.org under the Certification Program Tab
4. Utilize the FAQ’s at www.imfoa.org to help answer common questions under the Certification Program Tab
